Snow Shoveler

As a Snow Shoveler, you will play a crucial role in the safe and productive removal of snow and ice from residential and commercial jobsites, walkways, and traffic areas and in ensuring the safety and convenience of our customers and residents during the winter season. You'll be part of our snow removal crew, working together to tackle the challenges posed by snow and ice, maintaining high quality standards, and reporting any issues encountered. Shifts Schedules:·Early Morning / Day Shift/ Early Evening Shift /On-Call.

· Snow removal shifts are varied and can include early morning or late evening start times.

· Work hours are directly related to the timing and frequency of snowfalls.

· Available on weekdays, holidays and weekends as required depending on snowfalls.

· Day and night shifts available.

· Employees must be flexible with shift times.

· Availability on short notice.

· Monitor weather forecast to anticipate incoming weather events.

What you will bring:

· Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s license.

· Reliable transportation to and from work.

· Ability to work shifts options of early mornings and/or late evenings.

· Reliable and punctual, with a flexible schedule to accommodate varying snowfall patterns.

· Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in cold weather conditions.

· Effective English communication skills (both verbal and written).

· Ability to follow safe working procedures.

· Good observation skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.

· Previous snow removal experience is a plus but not required.

Work Conditions:

· Various locations including both residential and commercial sites.

· Extremely flexible working hours, including nights, weekend, and holiday work.

· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Work safely near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.

· Work outdoors in various conditions including extreme cold, rain, dust, noise, and wet conditions.
