Join Our Team as a Mechanic!


SeeMoreGreen Landscaping is looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team immediately. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overall upkeep of a variety of landscaping and construction equipment, ensuring that everything runs smoothly for our projects. We are located about a 7-minute drive south of Saskatoon, so reliable transportation to and from work is a requirement of the position.


LOCATION: SASKATOON


What you will do:

· Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of landscaping and construction equipment, including mini excavators, skid steers, dump trucks, lawn equipment, and more.

· Overhaul and service engines, transmissions, brakes, axles, and other vehicle components.

· Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely.

· Test and troubleshoot both gas and diesel-powered equipment to identify issues and complete repairs.

· Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance, ensuring all equipment logs are up to date.

· Order parts and keep an inventory of necessary materials for maintenance tasks.

· Assist with loading, unloading, and moving equipment for landscape construction and maintenance projects.

· Work closely with other team members to ensure jobs are completed on time and to high standards.

· Ensure all work is completed safely, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.


What you bring:

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (G endorsement, Class 3, or 1A is an asset)

· Reliable transportation to and from work

· Speak, read, and write English.

· Heavy-Duty Equipment, Automotive Mechanic, Truck and Transport Trade Certification is an asset

· Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience

· Equipment Operator Trade Certification or list of references will be preferred.

· Personal smartphone with data plan for daily attendance marking, communication, and reporting.

· Experience with maintenance welding is an asset.

· Experience working with Small Engines is an asset.


Work Conditions:

· Various locations including our Mechanics Shop and some mobile on-site maintenance and repairs as needed

· Working near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis· Working outdoors, if needed, in various conditions including cold, heat and humidity, rain, dust, and noise

· Working flexible hours including occasional weekend work, stat holidays, and out-of-town work where required

Job Type:

Pay:

  • $25.00-$30.00 per hour


Additional pay:

  • Overtime pay


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

  • 12 hour shift

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Overtime

  • Weekends as needed


Experience:

  • Mechanic: 1 year (required)


Language:

  • Fluent English (required)


License/Certification:
