Join Our Team as a Landscape Equipment Operator! – Starting Spring 2025!
(While the position officially begins in the spring, there may be an opportunity to join early and help close out the snow removal season)
SeeMoreGreen Landscaping is looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Equipment Operator to join our team starting in April-May 2025. As a key player in our landscaping operations, you will be responsible for operating various landscaping equipment to ensure the efficient and safe completion of projects.
LOCATION: REGINA
What you will do:
· Safely operate a range of landscaping equipment, including mini excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other machinery for landscape construction and maintenance.
· Assist in the preparation and execution of landscaping projects, including grading, trenching, excavation, and material handling.
· Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications.
· Ensure safety standards are followed and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
· Assist with general labor duties as needed to support landscaping tasks and project completion.
· Complete necessary paperwork, including inspection logs and reports for equipment and job progress.
What you bring:
· A minimum of 2 years of experience operating landscaping equipment (e.g., skid steer, mini excavator, loader, etc.).
· Strong knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of landscaping machinery.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· A valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record; G endorsement or 1A preferred.
· Reliable transportation to and from work.
· Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
· Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
· Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in landscape construction and maintenance.
· Certification or training in landscaping or equipment operation will be an asset.
Work Conditions:
· Various locations including both residential and commercial landscape construction sites.
· Working near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
· Working outdoors in various conditions including cold, heat and humidity, rain, dust, and noise.
· Working flexible hours including occasional weekend work, stat holidays, and out-of-town work where required.
